Montenegro withdraws from Eurovision 2020!

Today, a very sad news came from Montenegro since they've decided to withdraw from the contest.
The EBU provided the Montenegrin national broadcaster RTCG with an extra time regarding the requirements for the participation however they didn't realise them.

Montenegro previously withdrew from Eurovision in 2010 because of the financial reasons and bad results then. They are now out of the competition for the second time.

The Balkan country has not qualified to the final four years in a row. They last qualified for the final in 2015 with the song "Adio" performed by Knez placing 13th in the grand final.
