41 countries to participate in Eurovision 2020!

Jon Ola Sand, the Executive Supervisor of the Eurovision Song Contest announced that a total of 41 countries would participate in next year's edition of the contest taking place in Rotterdam Ahoy, Netherlands.

Bulgaria and Ukraine have returned to the contest after a year of absence and Hungary and Montenegro unfortunately withdrew from the contest.

Hungary announced before that A Dal would not be used as a national final to select the Hungarian Eurovision entry following that, they weren't in the participating countries list.

It's quite interesting that Hungary didn't participate in 2000, 2010 and 2020 Eurovisions. They didn't qualify for the final last year in Tel Aviv.
