Wiener Stadthalle to host Eurovision Song Contest 2015

On August 6, 2014, the Wiener Stadthalle was chosen to be the host venue for the Eurovision Song Contest 2015. Let's find out more about Wiener Stadthalle;

Wiener Stadthalle is an indoor arena, located in the 15th district of Vienna, Austria. The arena has an overall seating capacity of approximately 16,000 people.

The arena comprises of 6 halls: A and B (gymnasiums), C (ice arena), D (main hall, mostly for concerts ), E (for smaller events) and F for more intimate concerts. In 1974, the additional Stadthallenbad, a public swimming pool, was built.

Semifinals of Eurovision 2015 to be held on the May 19 and May 21 and the final on the night of 23rd May 2015.
